TEN YEARS AGO: December 31, 1999
Before driving 2 hours across the state of Michigan for a New Year’s Eve party in East Grand Rapids, I filled the bathtub in my apartment with water, just in case of TECHNOPOCALYPSE 2000: Y2K. Hedging my bets, you see.
When I returned two days later, the tub was empty.

A New Logo For The City Of Philadelphia.
Just over a month ago, the City of Philadelphia unveiled a new logo. In their roundup of 2009 designs, Brand New called it one of the worst of the year. Following this, Technically Philly announced an open call for their readers to submit their concepts for a new City logo.
